Trevor Ormiston established Ormistons Law Practice in 2003 having already practised Mental Health Law for several years. Trevor became a solicitor in 1998 following the completion of his studies at The University of Edinburgh. Trevor Ormiston is now recognised as an accredited specialist in the field of Mental Health Law by the Law Society of Scotland. His expertise in this area has led to him dealing with many complex cases over the years and has vast experience representing clients of all backgrounds although has developed a special interest in Forensic cases. In addition, he is also a Curator ad Litem for the Mental Health Tribunal for Scotland and is regularly appointed to exercise this role.
Trevor was greatly honoured to be selected for the Outstanding Contribution Award at the Herald Law Awards 2023.
