Mental Health Solicitors

Anais obtained her LLB at the University of Edinburgh and thereafter completed her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Dundee. While studying, Anais worked as a litigation administration assistant at a law firm in Edinburgh where she managed her own caseload of rent arrear and eviction cases, gaining practical experience in civil procedure. She also volunteered at both of her universities' law clinics, delivering pro bono advice to help make the legal system more accessible. Anais joined Ormistons Law Practice as a Trainee Solicitor in 2026, where she advises clients detained under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment)(Scotland) Act 2003 and provides representation before the Mental Health Tribunal for Scotland.
