Mental Health Solicitors

Vanessa completed her LLB Honours at Abertay University then her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Dundee in 2018. Vanessa then began working with Ormistons, initially assisting within our office before commencing her 2 year traineeship in October 2018. After qualifying as a solicitor in 2020, Vanessa remained with Ormistons, progressing to Senior Solicitor in 2022. She is now one of our Associate Solicitors. Additionally, Vanessa is also a Curator ad litem for the Mental Health Tribunal Service for Scotland in which she is appointed to safeguard the interests of a patient. Vanessa has participated in delivering mental health law presentations to Advocacy Projects located across the country.
